The 2025 AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design Awards submission period closes Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:59 pm EST.

Download and review the 2025 Architectural Excellence Design & COTE Awards Call for Submissions before starting your submission(s) for complete details, including the submission process and required and optional jury review materials for submission to the Design and COTE Awards programs.

After creating an account and/or logging in to the submission program for 2025, applicants will be able to preview and save their submission(s) as they work to complete the submission. Applicants may log back in at any time to complete the submission before the submission cutoff date. Applicants will not be asked to process payment via PayPal until all required fields are complete, the submission has been added to the cart, and the applicant proceeds to checkout.

Please note that before starting your first submission, you must create an account.​ Subsequent submissions may be logged under the same applicant or different applicant accounts. If you participated in the Architectural Excellence Design, COTE, or Special Awards (2020-2024), the account you created via your e-mail address is still on file and retains your previous submissions/nominations.

If you cannot recall your password, there is a self-service “lost password” feature in the submission/nomination portal. RE-SUBMIT PAST PROJECTS >

If you’ve entered a project in the AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design & COTE Awards in recent years (2020-2024) and it is still eligible for submission, you are encouraged to consider resubmitting it with ease through the submission platform. Log in with your existing applicant account using the unique resubmission link.

You will be prompted to select the dropdown "2020 OR 2021 OR 2022 OR 2023 OR 2024 Architectural Excellence...." Hit search and any previous submission(s) should populate, hit the "Use this application" blue text link any fields and uploads from your 2020 – 2024 submission(s) will be auto-populated into a new submission for entry in 2025's program.

Please note that a few fields are new or updated and will require your input to finalize the submission. Also, any fields copied over from the previous submission may be edited. Additionally, entry of the project, if applicable, in the opt-in COTE Awards will require a fresh assessment download and re-upload. Please review all fields for accuracy from the duplication and "add to cart" to checkout and finalize your submission.

Managing Multiple Submissions

Log-in or create an account by following the link directly to the 2025 Architectural Excellence Design & COTE Awards submission program platform. Depending on whether you have started a submission or would like to begin a new submission, you will see options linked in blue copy in the body of the page to either review past submissions or begin a new submission.

If you are logged in and working, select the red copy at the top of this page that reads, “CREATE/LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO START A SUBMISSION(S) OR COMPLETE A SUBMISSION(S) >” and you will be directed back to the landing page described above that offers the option to begin another submission.
